2. Services

Hearthstone Portsmouth Landscaping provides landscaping services including but not limited to lawn care, landscape design and installation, hardscaping, irrigation systems, tree services, sod installation, lighting, drainage solutions, seasonal cleanups, commercial landscaping, mulching, and artificial turf installation.

All services are subject to availability and scheduling. We reserve the right to refuse service to any customer for any lawful reason. Service descriptions, pricing, and availability are subject to change without prior notice.

3. Estimates and Pricing

We provide free estimates for all landscaping services. Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issue unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary if site conditions differ from the initial assessment or if you request changes to the original scope of work.

Payment terms will be outlined in your service agreement. We accept cash, check, and major credit cards. Payment is typically due upon completion of work unless other arrangements have been made in writing.

4. Scheduling and Cancellation

We schedule services based on weather conditions, crew availability, and project timelines. While we strive to meet scheduled dates, unforeseen circumstances such as severe weather may require rescheduling. We will notify you as soon as possible if changes are necessary.

If you need to cancel or reschedule a service, please provide at least 24 hours notice. Cancellations made less than 24 hours before a scheduled service may be subject to a cancellation fee.

5. Property Access

By engaging our services, you grant us permission to access your property to perform the agreed-upon work. You are responsible for ensuring safe access to work areas and notifying us of any hazards, underground utilities, irrigation systems, or other site conditions that may affect our work.

We will take reasonable care to protect your property during service, but we are not responsible for damage to unmarked utilities, hidden obstacles, or pre-existing conditions that were not disclosed to us.

6. Liability and Insurance

Hearthstone Portsmouth Landscaping is fully licensed and insured. Our insurance covers liability and worker's compensation. We take all reasonable precautions to protect your property and ensure safe work practices.

We are not liable for damage caused by conditions beyond our control, including but not limited to acts of nature, pests, diseases, or improper maintenance by the property owner. Any warranty or guarantee on our work will be specified in writing in your service agreement.

7. Customer Responsibilities

You agree to provide accurate information about your property and any specific requirements for the work. You are responsible for marking or identifying any underground utilities, sprinkler systems, or other hidden features that could affect our work.

You must ensure that pets are secured and that access to work areas is clear. You are responsible for maintaining any landscaping features or plants according to care instructions we provide.

8. Warranty

We stand behind the quality of our work. Specific warranties for plants, materials, and installation will be outlined in your service agreement. Warranties do not cover damage caused by improper maintenance, acts of nature, pests, diseases, or conditions beyond our control.

If you have concerns about our work, please contact us immediately so we can address the issue promptly.

9. Dispute Resolution

If a dispute arises regarding our services, we encourage you to contact us directly to resolve the matter. We are committed to working with you to find a fair solution. If we cannot resolve the dispute informally, both parties agree to attempt mediation before pursuing legal action.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
